Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced TS/SCI Technical Writer to join our team to support the JWICS Modernization Team. The candidate must have an active TS/SCI and be willing to sit for a CI Poly. All work is performed on-site, and no telework is authorized. Work is performed at Joint Base Bolling - Anacostia.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and deliver oral and written reports, slide presentations, policies, plans, and procedures on technical issues of concern for executive-level audiences.
- Gather technical inputs for all written deliverables.
- Edit deliverables for content length, spelling, grammar, and audience.
- Support a team to deliver documents covering data analysis, data models, lifecycle strategy, and other contract deliverables including weekly activity reports and standard operating procedures.
- Format documents in MS Word to include Tables of Contents, Page Numbering, Styles, and embedded graphics, images, and tables. Must be able to apply various style guides to format deliverables.
- Develop MS PowerPoint presentations with slide templates, graphics, animation, and notes.
- Manage document repository in MS SharePoint including permissions, storage, and retrieval.
- Ability to learn how to use new software applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability in editing documents for clarity, audience, grammar, and punctuation.
- Demonstrated mastery of the English language, extensive vocabulary, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possess an understanding of at least two (2) to five (5) years of experience working in the Intelligence Community.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to interact and comprehend all forms of written and verbal communication.
- The position requires heavy interaction with multiple customers.
Education Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience in a related field. Must have at least five (5) years of experience in technology consulting and complex projects.

- 5+ years w/ Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years w/ Master's Degree
