We are an Essential Workforce and are looking for telecommunication apprentices for immediate hire in the Sarasota area.

Position Requirements:

• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 60 lbs., carry and climb ladders, and work outside during all weather conditions.
• Use hand tools.
• Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work on call, evenings and weekends as needed

Previous cable experience is highly preferred but will train the right candidate. Immediately hiring.

• Carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)
• Use hand tools in the manner for which they were intended including electric drills, hammers, wrenches, and screwdrivers
• Safely walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment including ladders and fully loaded tool belts

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Computer networking: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
