Job Summary:
Qivliq Federal Group is looking for a Test Engineer to work on the Air Force Core Services Design and Integration contract at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
Job Responsibilities:
The individual will be part of a test team and support the testing of core service systems (software) on the Air Force Network (AFNET).
The team supports the fielding of modifications and upgrades to AFNET services, primarily Microsoft technologies. The individual will follow test plans and document results.
The individual may also build or configure test environments using Microsoft Server software, VMWare, and other server technologies. The individual must be able to perform basic network troubleshooting and recommend Windows system administration.
4 years of overall IT experience. A B.A. or B.S. degree may substitute for 2 years.
Experience with Windows administration, implementation, or operations/user support.
An active SECRET clearance.
Knowledge of IA controls.
Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Prior DoD or USAF working environment experience a plus.
Vendor training/certifications a plus.
Microsoft Certification such as MCSA, SCCM, Exchange.
Experience/certification in one or more of the following services: Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, SCCM, SCOM, TMG, Blackberry.
Experience with HBSS, ACAS, and antivirus software.
Understanding of network services such as DHCP, routing, VPNs, and VLANs.
Experience with operating systems, patching, GPO’s, and DNS.
Certificates: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and associated CE certificate (Typically Security+).
