We are seeking a Toddler Teacher Aide to join our Team! This individual will nurture and provide exceptional quality care for Toddler children ages 24 to 36 months of age. You will plan and present age-appropriate activities for the children within a fun, loving environment.

Responsibilities:

Instruct Toddlers children 24 months to 36 months of age in age-appropriate activities designed to build strong paths to learning and stimulate intellectual and creative growth.

• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity and rest
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress

Education and Qualifications

• (6) months Programmatic Training
• Completion of (20) semester credits or (30) quarter credits of training at a college or university in Early Childhood Education or child development
• Understanding of all current Virginia state and local regulations
• Ability to stoop and bend to interact on a child's level, lift up to (35) pounds and above
• Must be certified in CPR and First Aid - Will meet within time given
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with children and parents
• (Minimum) 18 years of age or older

Seven Oaks Academy located in Woodbridge in the Featherstone Square shopping center.
