Statement of Work
Requirements:
Training: Develop training plans for the implementation of new hardware and software to be used by personnel. Assist with updating training manuals. Individuals must be capable of developing and revising training courses and materials. Personnel also will be required to prepare training environments for trainees as well as user manuals and workbooks.
Testing: Conduct user acceptance testing on hardware and software to be implemented in the State of Maryland. Assist with assessing functionality, flow and accuracy of test scripts and checklist to be used as part of user acceptance testing. Identify, document and report functionality or equipment failures. Reviews test results and evaluates for conformance to design.
Training:
- Develop training plans and user manuals
- Prepare training environments and course outlines
- Develop training schedules
- Develop training evaluations to be completed by trainees
- Assist with updating state training manual and user guides
- Conduct Lessons Learned on Training Courses
- Assess trainees’ knowledge of material and areas of improvement
Testing:
- Work with the Project Team to execute test plans
- Assist the Project Team by participating in sprint planning
- Assess accuracy of test scripts and checklists
- Prepare and execute test scripts and all required test documentation
- Testing in collaboration with the development team
- Review test results
- Participate in regression testing
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise in test, UAT and production environments
- Work in a hybrid agile/waterfall environment
- Work on documentation related to the operation of the new equipment
- Administrative tasks. Additional related tasks and ad-hoc testing may be assigned
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and/or election specific experience training personnel on voting equipment or applications used by election support personnel.
General Experience:
Must have (2) years of experience training personnel to use hardware, software, applications or following processes and procedures. A minimum of 20 trainees.
Must have (1) year of experience with testing hardware or software within a controlled environment. Controlled Environment means the testing was conducted in accordance with specific guidelines or regulations.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $76,000.00 per year
