  • Participates in the interviewing process of OpTechs
  • Orientation of New Hires
  • Sets new hires up with Oracle access, Airwaves, Employee ID's, vending machine access, and benefits
  • Direct reporting responsibilities for the first 90 days of new hires (ending with their 90 day review)
  • Manages performance and attendance of new hires for first 90 days
  • Develops, coordinates and maintains training programs for PtAl
  • Administers Peer-to-Peer training program
  • Shift training as required for Quality, Safety, Production Process "Reminders", and other problems that arise
  • Yearly recurring training including NCR, Back-to-Basics and General Knowledge test
  • Designs and develops training courses to meet the business unit's safety and business goals
  • Reviews, evaluates and selects material to supplement training
  • Maintains all department training records including a training matrix
  • Reviews, updates, and maintains JSA's, and other operational documentation
  • Participates in Lean / Six Sigma / Quality / Safety efforts as necessary or directed
  • Occasional Shipping/ Receiving duties as needed

  • Minimum 5 years production experience or 2 years as a T3 in PtAl required
  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience desired
  • Able and willing to work any shift as required by the job
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint desired
  • Willing to Work extended hours and/or weekends and holidays as required
  • Must be proficient in Basic Math
  • Ability to communicate and work well in a diverse environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience designing and developing training courses preferred
  • Previous demonstrated training skills/experience preferred
