Position: Training Development Specialist

Wage: $60,000 annually plus full benefits package
Schedule: Monday through Friday typical daytime hours with potential evenings.

Job Summary and Duties
Orion Associates has created a new training and development position for its associated agencies. This position will collaborate with the training team and department leaders to develop, implement, and track orientation and ongoing training for our residential, in-home services, finance, HR, and case management departments.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the conceptualization, implementation and design of employee training for orientation and yearly compliance
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop written and electronic learning modules for specific job performance tasks
- Collaborate with teams to provide learning events for employees
- Ensure the tracking of employee training in the agency database
- Reviews and gathers performance evaluation data to discover, plan for and meet training needs, individually and in the aggregate
- Provide communication to teams regarding the progress of employee training
- Assists in the maintenance of the Orion Training website
- Contact outside organizations to market the Orion Training modules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 2 years experience in training or adult education
- Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written skills)
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Outstanding customer service standards and problem-solving abilities
- Self motivated
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Successful clearance from a DHS background study
- Proficient with using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
