is seeking a highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and detail-oriented Travel Ambassador to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) located in North Bethesda, MD.

Overall Position Summary and Objectives
This position will be a Travel Ambassador and housed in SRO. Will make travel arrangements with Omega World Travel and place travel in CGE Concur travel system.

Deliverables:
  • Will make travel arrangements with Omega World Travel - Daily
  • Place travel in CGE Concur travel system - Daily
  • Collaborate with Administrative Resource Officer on travel requests - Daily
  • Coordinate with Travelers - Daily
Work Details:
  • Schedules and maintains an accurate tracking system of all activities.
  • Maintain databases for tracking, analyzing and reporting of all activities including professional activities, travel and project management. 5
  • Arranges conferences and meetings and contacts attending professionals, makes travel arrangements, maintains complex schedules and calendars, and advises staff on the most effective method and format of presentations.
  • Coordinate and plan travel arrangements, 1
  • Contact participants and notify them of topics to be discussed. 4
  • Updates databases and spreadsheets and creates reports for management.
  • Develop and/or complete forms and prepare for staff’s signatures. 3
  • Develop, maintain and update spreadsheets for personnel, budget and travel actions. 2
