Requirements and additional information
- Must have Ohio Registered Nursing License; current, active and in good standing.
- Avg. Daily Census 16, 18 rooms, 22 beds
- Patient Age Group - Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics
- Staffing Ratios Vary - 1:5 for Med/Surg patients, 1:4 for progressive patients, 1:2 for ICU patient. This is for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Call required as needed
- Float within service line
- Every Other Weekend Coverage
- Patient Diagnoses: 22-bed Universal Unit that takes patient from ICU to pediatrics. Universal beds allow patient to change levels of care and remain in the same room. Ratio of patients to nurse changes based on acuity of patients. Recommendations are 1:5 for Med/Surg patients, 1:4 for progressive patients, 1:2 for ICU patient. This is for both adult and pediatric patients. We offer services for cardiac-heart failure, orthopedics, respiratory diseases, general surgery, hospice, neurology, ENT, Urology, and diabetes
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Inpatient Dialysis on Chronic patients. Primary Stroke Certification- TPA/TNK
- Special Equipment: Use Telehealth for many specialty services
- Telemetry Required
- Vents Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Preferred
- Medication System Pyxis
- Trauma Level I & II Experience Preferred
- Epic Preferred
- Patient Ratio Experience Required 1:3
- ACLS, BCLS, NIH Required, PALS Preferred
- 1 Years Minimum Experience Required
- Unit Does Accept 1st time Travelers
- Scrub color Navy
