Tom Peace Trucking Co. is a locally owned, family operation that specializes in hauling loose aggregate. We are currently seeking a Class A CDL End Dump Drivers with a minimum of two years verifiable experience. This position is a benefits eligible full time position.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Operate manual transmission

· Maintain an active CDL Class A License without restrictions

· Demonstrate a professional demeanor

· Ensure safe driving practices

· Abide by, know and understand DOT guidelines; including HOS

· Ability to read, write and speak English

· Perform pre and post trip inspections

· Ability to troubleshoot with some mechanical aptitude

· Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading position

· Ensure trailers are cleaned out between customers to avoid contamination

· Check load and ticket documentation

· Complete paysheets

· Operate ELD, CB radios

· Obtain and comply with PPE requirements

· Ability to lift, push, pull

· Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, swoop and stope

· Ability to read a map

· Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks; adding fuel, oil, radiator fluids

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum two-years experience
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check, in addition to random drug screenings per FMCSA guidelines
• Reliable
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• End dump experience a plus
• Have and maintain active DOT physical
• Ability to work weekends, as needed
• Ability to work overtime, as needed

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
