Experience

-At least 1 year of tutoring experience.

Position Description

Tutors are responsible for helping students to understand different subjects and assist the Teachers. They assess, assist with classroom facilitation and encourage the students in the learning processes. These professionals also review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answers questions of the student regarding to that topic.

Skills

-Tutor middle and high school students.

-Communicate specifically with spanish speaking students.

-Tutor math subjects- algebra 1, algebra 2, statistics.

-Patience, the ability to remain calm and respectful.

-Positivity. Having a positive attitude can make the difference between a motivated student and an unmotivated student.

-Empathy.

-Technical knowledge.
