The Utility Locate Processor is the primary point of contact for handling requests regarding field location and marking of utilities. This role is critical in the timely processing of locate requests with a strong focus on consistent, clear, and accurate responses. This position receives these requests for all proposed excavation projects at or near Walt Disney World.

This role reports to the Utility Mapping Service Manager of Reedy Creek Energy Services.

Responsibilities:

• Receive communication directly from Sunshine 811, identify if the work described will take place in our service area, and provide a response to both Sunshine 811 and the customer directly.
• Verify information received is clear, accurate, and factual.
• Communicate with requestors and contractors.
• Answer questions from locators or find answers on behalf of them from the requestor.
• Process RCES Utility Service Requests, and general electronic service requests.
• Provide coverage and backup to the Utility Documentation Specialist position.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working in an office environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read a Map
• Able to multitask while being highly organized and meticulous
• Excellent time-management skills
• Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Suite
• A positive demeanor and ability to work well with a variety of people

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of applicable experience in utility construction or operations
• Understanding of Walt Disney World property layout
• Demonstrated Maximo or SAP experience

Required Education:

High School Diploma

Preferred Education:

Associate’s degree in applicable technical curriculum
