Our Client is looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant Instructor to help provide a student-centered environment consistent with its core values preparing graduates to apply their knowledge, and abilities to succeed in a work environment in their field of study.
At our client, students receive education and certification for:
- Emergency Medical Services
- Emergency Medical Technician
- Medical Assisting
- Nursing
- Paramedic
- Substance Abuse Counseling
- Veterinary Assisting
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide instruction for veterinary technician assistant students in lecture and laboratory settings.
- Assist with facilitation of demonstrations, observation, and evaluation of student essential skills performance.
- Prepare laboratory environments for instruction by assembling necessary resources.
- Remain current in the field of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technician and/or Veterinary
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of an earned Associate’s degree with a major in any area of health sciences from an accredited college or university or equivalent (Required)
- Minimum of four (4) years of related practical work experience in the subject area(s) taught (per ACCSC) (Required)
- Current and active Veterinary Technician certification (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
