Vice President, Air Force Account Executive Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our Defense and Intelligence (D&I) team. We are looking for an Account Executive to be the leading force in growing client relationships and business in our Air Force market. As the Account Executive you will develop and lead our account and business strategies designed to expand Parsons’ presence in key Air Force organizations. The successful candidate will provide strategic account direction, establish, and maintain client relationships in support of new and existing sales, and identify opportunities that position Parsons to expand its presence in the Air Force and achieve overall business plan growth goals. You will engage in senior level discussions both internal to the company, across industry, and within the customer space.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years diversified experience in Business Development, Customer Account leadership, and/or direct customer mission experience.

  • Established industry and government relationships and understanding of the Air Force competitive landscape and acquisition processes for at least 2 of the following:

    • Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)

    • Hanscom AFB

    • Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)

    • Air Combat Command (ACC)

    • Cyber Electro Magnetic Activities (CEMA)

  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute customer contact plans to position Parson’s capabilities at the most senior levels of the DAF as well as influence requirements and acquisition strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline of $100M+ opportunities, qualify those opportunities, and drive early interest decisions 12-18 months in advance of RFP to deliver new competitive bookings.

  • Build and maintain a documented account strategy that identifies strategic thrusts, investments and opportunities within the account.

  • Relationship builder who creates strategic alliances with organization leaders to align Parson’s capabilities, experience, investments, and resources

  • Proven track record to build and successfully execute adjacent and new market entry strategies that have led to large awards (i.e. $100M or greater)

  • Capable of developing comprehensive client account strategies to produce winning results.

  • Understanding of current market trends and differentiated solutions in this space.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

  • Must be willing and able to travel, as required, 10-20%.

  • TS clearance with eligibility for SCI

Desired Candidate Traits:

  • Domain knowledge in one or more of the following domains: hardware platform integration, space payload integration and development, Space C2Ops, offensive and defensive cyber, SE&I services including MBSE.

  • Persistent problem solver with a tenacious drive to Win.

  • Acquisition or mission experience within the USAF

  • Demonstrates ability to influence, inspire trust and establish & sustain credibility.

  • Able to develop budgets and manage pursuit and bid dollars effectively.

  • Understanding of competitors’ capabilities and ability to devises plans to position the company to be successful in pursuits aligned with our capabilities.

  • Ability to act as a Parsons ambassador to support participation in applicable conferences, exhibits and industry engagements to promote Parsons’ capabilities.

  • SAP Community experience

Salary Range:

$175,100.00 - $334,800.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
