Acara Solutions is looking for a VP of Distribution Center Operations in Dallas, TX.

Job Duties:

• Assess current team and structure for opportunities to train up & grow.
• Assess current DC operations for increased productivity, lower costs, and develop strategy for future plumbing branch model (e.g. potential consolidation from major market to regional model).
• Developing long-range objectives and strategies for the distribution centers
• Monitoring performance against these objectives and providing feedback to site direct report(s) and team members
• Creating standard operating procedures and best practices in terms of performance monitoring in order to optimize quality and delivery time
• Ensuring that all products are properly stored and handled in accordance with industry standards

Requires skills and qualification:

• An MBA or equivalent graduate degree is preferred.
• 5-10 years of supervisory experience in industrial background (HVAC, plumbing, bathing).
• Multi-team management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
