Position Information:
The Vice President of Revenue Strategies will provide overall executive leadership to the Buffalo Lodging enterprise revenue generation departments. In this capacity the Vice President of Revenue Strategies will focus on the integration of Buffalo Lodging’s revenue generation resources to align with our operating and financial performance goals. The Vice President of Revenue Strategies will be charged with developing, continuously improving upon, and executing the revenue generation objectives and strategies for Buffalo Lodging’s owned and managed assets. The Vice President of Revenue Strategies is charged with supporting the wellness of our associate community and strives to promote our Core Values and Mission Statement in all revenue generation departments, goals, and objectives. - Located in BLA Canton Office, the Vice President of Revenue Strategies will establish and maintain a productive and accountable work environment for all team members that are charged with generating revenue for Buffalo Lodging Associates.
- Lead the BLA organization to provide the highest standard of revenue strategy development and execution.
- Inspire and encourage Buffalo Lodging community to promote revenue generation objectives and strategies across departments that have direct impact on our revenue generation results. The Vice President of Revenue Strategies will build a focus on revenue generation strategies throughout the organization.
- Design, implement and maintain standard operating procedures, company policies, specifications, programs, and initiatives relating to revenue generation.
- Collaborate with corporate and property leadership teams in the development of operating budgets and comprehensive performance objectives and strategies to continually improve assets financial performance.
- Develop and prioritize revenue generation strategies that produce best in class financial results.
- Create and maintain strong brand relationships to insure we are effectively utilizing all resources for success.
- Prepare, understand and interpret brand reports as need to communicate with property and above property teams.
- Oversee daily operations of Revenue Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Sales.
- Ensure that BLA and each property has an aggressive/responsive reputation management strategy in place and ensure that responses are executed in a timely manner and disputes are resolved favorably.
- Lead and develop your direct reports by establishing roles, responsibilities, and measures of performance and execute a continuous feedback loop with transparent communication, dialogue and accountability to goals and objectives that are defined for each.
- Mentor Revenue Management team by providing tools, critiques, and global strategies for increased yield of assets.
- Engage with the Digital Marketing team to be a resource for hotels to improve presence and business mix that supports the achievement of financial targets.
- Recruit and retain best in class associates through innovative talent assessment and associate development initiatives.
- Actively participate brand PIPs and capital projects to minimize revenue displacement and identify opportunities that could lead to additional revenue resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business management or related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role with responsibilities managing multiple hospitality operations.
- Proven experience managing multi branded hotel revenue management.
- Excellent organization, management, administrative, and leadership skills exhibiting creativity, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Experience with financial accountability and P&L responsibility.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to design and execute company-wide strategic initiatives.
- Ability to travel.
