Warehouse Associate

Videk is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to perform a variety of warehouse functions including inventory control, shipping, and receiving. The successful candidate will be a detail oriented person with strong teamwork and problem solving skills. This position is full-time, in person, and located in Fairport NY.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely pack and ship out goods using both parcel and freight services

• Record shipments in ERP system

• Count, sort, and verify incoming goods

• Manage receiving paperwork and record in ERP system

• Read drawings and perform incoming inspections as needed

• Pull orders from inventory and perform the necessary transactions in ERP system

• Perform cycle counts to verify accuracy of inventory

• Assist in monitoring inventory for shortages

• Assist Production as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours a day

• Ability to lift 20lbs many times throughout the day, occasionally up to 50lbs

• Self motivated but also comfortable taking direction as needed.

• Strong Organizational skills

• Ability to read a ruler and calipers

• Must be able to identify color-coded components

• Working Knowledge of UPS and FedEx internet based shipping software

• Fork Lift Experience required

• International Shipping Experience preferred

• Microsoft Dynamics/Navision experience is a plus

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
