We are looking for a night shift supervisor to support warehouse shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all staff conduct work activities in a safe and efficient manner and that we continue to promote a culture of engagement, integrity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong leadership in planning, managing, and coordinating all night shift warehouse activities including order selection, replenishment, receiving, and inventory control. This includes minimizing downtime, addressing root causes, and developing solutions
- Ensure night shift is adequately staffed to meet expected ship outs and mitigate unnecessary overtime. Includes supporting new hire selection, onboarding, and ongoing training and development to help associates improve their work execution and overall department’s performance
- Ensure department measures and manages its KPIs in tandem with operations management. Includes working seamlessly with supervisors across shifts to limit carry-over and improve operating transitions
- Assist in preparation and administration of department budget
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, AQMD, EPA, and all other local/federal regulatory agencies as required
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with all warehouse and branch personnel
- Vigorously promote a culture of continuous improvement including leading projects that improve warehouse performance
- 3+ years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in distribution
- 2+ years of Supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability to motivate and work with and through others to achieve desired results
- Associates degree required; BA degree preferred
- Solid social, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to deal effectively with a wide array of people
- Basic computer skills required and comfort with warehouse management systems (WMS)
