Job Details

· Full-Time

· Hours: 8am – 4pm; Monday – Friday, Saturday 11am-4pm

We are a small local business that is looking to change the way customers shop for their renovation materials. As a small company, each employee performs a variety of tasks that vary day to day. The Warehouse Specialist will start off with helping us set up the warehouse, make recommendations on best practices and policies, contribute to implementation of the inventory system, and help customers with picking up their orders. This position requires you to have great communication skills, outgoing personality, professional appearance, ability to interact positively with customers and have an overall good salesmanship.

Responsibilities

· Organize warehouse: tools, supplies and inventory (which includes pallets of tile, flooring, setting materials, and more)

· Receive and verify accuracy incoming and outgoing shipments and orders

· Input inventory in POS system and maintain accurate inventory counts

· Maintain clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations

· Develop best practices and safety policies that align with OSHA

· Greet and welcome customers that arrive in the will-call area in a professional manner and ensure a high-level of service

· Assist customers with loading products, receive shipments and be able to organize product displays (must be able to lift more than 50 pounds regularly)

· May be asked to go to vendor locations to pick up orders or deliver orders to customers (valid driver’s license is required)

· Ability to perform minor building repairs and assist with building maintenance

· Assist in other departments as needed

· Other duties assigned

Qualifications

· 2+ years of warehouse experience

· Lead / Management experience is desired

· Reliable transportation

· Must be able to pick up a minimum of 50lbs

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Forklift certified (or willing to get forklift certified)

· Customer service oriented

· Strong communications skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Proficient with computers

· Self-motivated and self-managing

· Flexible, dependable and punctual

· Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
