We have an Urgent position for the Waste & Recycling Technician.
Job Title: Waste & Recycling Technician
Client: DFW Airport
Location: Dallas, TX 75261
Duration: 6 months contract
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with pallet recycling program
Pick up pallets from landside (non-AOA) locations (will need to lift up to 50 lbs.)
Collect pallets and transport them to the Zero Waste yard or recycling facility off-property
Assist with the rollout of a tenant waste diversion program
Pick up boxes from an airport tenant (will need to lift to 50 lbs.)
Transport boxes to Zero Waste yard
Cleaning and assisting with maintenance projects at the Zero Waste yard
Complete field observations of waste and recycling container contents
Assist with different recycling and waste reduction projects
This will be as needed and under the direction of Zero Waste Lead
Other duties as needed
