Storm Search is supporting immediate Direct Hire opportunities for Welders/Fitters at a successful, and well-known manufacturing company in Barberton, OH.

Shift Times:

2nd: 3:30pm-11:30pm (Mon-Fri)

3rd: 11:30pm-7:30am (Mon-Fri)

Description:

• Set-up of work stations in the fabrication shop, along with cleaning, fitting, expanding, and milling of product.
• Fit, align, assemble, and secure component parts of any size, complexity, shape or design; secures fit-ups by welding, bolting, clamping, and similar methods
• Performs grinding duties by hand or with machine grinders or belt sanders, removing weld defects, removing weld splatter, removing temporary attachments, back grooving, and surface preparation for NDE, inspection, or painting
• Set up and operate many types of equipment routinely used for bending, shaping, and contouring of steels and alloyed metals
• Perform tack welds; chamfer, deburr, and blend product
• Work from prints, sketches, process sheets, and other forms of verbal and written communication

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Blueprint reading experience
• Must be able to work ANY SHIFT.
• Tig and Stick Welding experience
• 2 years of welding experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $33.70 per hour
