Summary:
Wood Room Supervisor reports to the Wood Room Manager and oversees all the daily tasks associated with building wooden components for Cruisers Yachts and supervising a team of wood room employees. Responsible for creating a safe and inviting work environment. Supervisor works close with Plant Manager and Scheduler and Wood Room Manager to meet company production goals. Candidate must have a woodworking background and experience in building wooden products utilizing machine tools.
Main Responsibilities:

· Maintains schedule of Department Meetings & Vacation Schedules
· Create spreadsheets and presentations as required.
· Maintains related files to defined procedures
· Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures
· May prepare requests for reproduction of documents.
· May prepare reports and memorandums as required
· Reviews, recommends and plans implementation of new processes and procedures
· Maintains a commitment to the company vision and the "spirit" of the organization.
· Perform special assignments as required
· Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
· Provides status reports to immediate management. Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
· Manufacturing supervision experience is a MUST
· Knowledge of woodworking tools and building experience is preferred
· Some College preferred
· Leadership/Supervision experience (3-5 Years)
· Strong computer skills are a must (MS Office, Email, Printing, Reviewing Data)
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
· Ability to work in a normal office environment to include: sitting or standing for long periods of time, operating various standard office equipment, carrying paper documents/files, reaching and bending, speaking on the telephone, safely walking through our manufacturing plant, and wearing required personal protective gear (i.e., eye and foot protection)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
