Job Summary
The Account Development Manager expands Ryder footprint in the used vehicle sales market and shortens the sales cycle by turning over more highly qualified leads to Used Vehicle Sales Managers. This position is responsible for providing qualified leads in multiple geographic territories.

Essential Functions
- Engages in lead nurturing and based on the prospects needs, assesses whether and when the Lead merits one-on-one attention
- Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and based on needs assessment determines if the lead merits assigning a used vehicle sales resource
- Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Used Vehicle Sales Manager
- Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's UVS Value Proposition and Services offered
- Maintains a high level of call volume in order to pass qualified leads to UVS Managers, set customer appointments and generate revenue dollars
Additional Responsibilities
- Can recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converse on transportation industry topics
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in business/marketing or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years or more in successful sales preferred
- Three (3) years or more Inside Sales experience preferred
- Five (5) years or more selling in a B2B environment preferred
- Excellent systems literacy knowledge - MS Office, Excel, Word, Internet intermediate required
- Know how to utilize keyboard/PC to capture in a dynamic way, customer discovery intermediate required

Applicants from California, Colorado, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington: Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifica tions, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $50,000. Salaries may be supplemented with commissions as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
