HAVEN of Tioga County, a domestic violence and sexual assault center, has an opening for a full-time(37.5 hours per week) and part-time (20-25 hours per week) Victim Advocate.

Responsibilities include: providing non-judgmental support to those affected by domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Providing supportive services such as crisis intervention, rotating on-call hotline coverage, empowerment counseling, legal advocacy, and individual advocacy services in a trauma informed environment.

Because of rotating on-call responsibilities, candidates must live within a 45 minute drive to Wellsboro, PA.

A Bachelor's degree is generally required, though applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A degree or coursework in Social Work or a related field is preferred. Prior experience working in a human services organization is strongly preferred.
