X-Bow Systems is expanding and looking to fill a new position for a Aerospace Program Manager.

Our start-up aerospace company is looking for an exceptional Senior Program Manager to join our team in Luling, TX. We are seeking a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in aerospace program management. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering/science, and an MBA would be a plus. As a Program Manager, you will interface with customers, have a decent understanding of R&D and production, and experience leading technical teams on day-to-day activities to track programs and plan for the future. You will also have a solid foundation in program management fundamentals, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about start-up life and possess a flexible, forward-leaning approach to managing programs. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple programs simultaneously. Your ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment will be crucial.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to establish program objectives, timelines, and deliverables
• Lead technical teams to execute on program objectives and ensure program success
• Manage program budgets, schedules, and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute program plans
• Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Communicate program status and progress to management and stakeholders
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science preferred, but will consider a business related degree with relevant experience
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace program management, with a focus on leading technical teams
• Strong understanding of program management fundamentals; budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for start-up life and flexible, forward-leaning approach to program management
• Aerospace experience heavily desired
