Assistant Athletic Trainer - Immaculata University
Job description
The Assistant Athletic Trainer supervises the care of student athletes competing in the University's Athletic programs with special emphasis on the prevention, evaluation, treatment and documentation of athletic injuries.
- Administrative duties of the athletic training room
- Athletic training coverage at all games, matches and practices
- Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with planning, organizing, and directing the use of the athletic training clinics for care and treatment of student-athletes
- Provide appropriate communication regarding medical conditions to coaches, administration, and medical professionals
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all services provided and all athletic injuries
- Assist student-athletes to safely return to activity after injuries
- Schedule orthopedic appointments with team doctor
- Review secondary insurance information and claims
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- The ability to work evenings & weekends and travel
- The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in athletic training
- BOC certified in Athletic Training
- Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania
