Job description

The Executive Head Housekeeper must be capable of:

· Recruit, train and manage the Housekeeping & Laundry staff,

· Along with staff, alert maintenance and/or front desk of any issues that need attention,

· Ensure a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel,

· Meet brand cleanliness standards,

· Inspect rooms daily and address deficiencies with appropriate staff,

· Conduct inventories to maintain adequate levels of guest, cleaning, and laundry supplies,

· Monitor department payroll costs to established metrics,

· Achieve exceptional guest scores and reviews, and

· Establish program for rotation of deep cleaning projects.

Ideal candidate will have:

o Previous Housekeeping Management experience (2 years minimum) in a branded hotel.

o Leadership skills and the ability to effectively train and mentor staff and delegate tasks and projects.

o Strong organization skills.

o Positive attitude, capable of motivating and building a team.

o Attention to detail is critical.

o Previous experience in implementing a successful deep cleaning program.

o Able and willing to work weekends, cover shifts, and function as a housekeeper a MUST.

o Evidence of guest scores or QA results from current or previous position showing success in achieving or surpassing brand cleanliness standards desired.

Requires, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. EOE.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
