Locally owned Outer Banks Olive Oil Company is seeking a full time, year round Assistant Manager for our location in Duck. We are open year round and the ideal candidate is self-motivated and driven to achieve the overall company goals. We are looking for an experienced, sales minded, team player that can begin training immediately. Sales Bonuses in additional to listed pay for sales driven managers. Paid time off and 401K/IRA company matching.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizing and supervising all the daily activities
• Overseeing the inventory of the store and accordingly placing replenishment orders.
• Supervise and participate in the coaching of sales personnel to provide maximum sales and customer service excellence
• Delivery of items between stores.
• Evaluating the performance and work of the subordinates.
• Delegating tasks and responsibilities to the employees of the store.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining quality and standards
• Maintaining the stores clean and attractive environment
• Supervise merchandising in a creative and attractive way
• Some financial responsibilities

Requirements-

-Retail experience

-Knowledge, experience in the food industry

-A passion for good food and cooking

-Strong selling, customer service and management experience required.

-Enjoys working with customers, is sales directed and committed to excellent customer service

-Successful track record of setting and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives

-Excellent communication skills-verbal & written, problem solving, motivating and delegating skills.

-Creative and looking for a challenge to bring a vision to life

-Work schedule will include evenings, weekends & holidays
