Associate or Assistant Director of Admission
Classification: Exempt - 12month position

Crystal seeks a full-time (1.0 FTE) Associate or Assistant Director of Admission. This role
is a rare opportunity for someone who is forward-thinking, highly relational, collaborative,
detail- and results-oriented, creative, and entrepreneurial to be a crucial member of a highly
developed team of admission professionals. A full job description is linked here. The ideal
candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least three years of working in schools;
non-profits, or other dynamic settings servingmultiple constituents; Spanish and/or
Mandarin language skills; and strong technological skills with GoogleWorkspace, Ravenna
(admission software), Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Zoom. A successful candidate in this
position will contribute the following:

  • Engage, recruit, interview, and assess candidates for admission

MinimumQualifications
Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience working in schools, non-profits, or other dynamic settings
servingmultiple constituents
  • Strong technological skills with GoogleWorkspace, Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Zoom

Preferred experience
Experience with recruitment, admission, or placement in a K-12 school or university

setting (conducting interviews, assessing applicant files, making decisions)
  • Project management and/or event planning experience
  • Marketing and communications experience
  • Experience with community building in collaborative settings
Physical Requirements andWork Environment:
Able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Able to climb stairs
  • Work in a dynamic environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines,
and a varied and diverse array of contacts
  • Maywork at a desk and computer for extended periods

Salary and Benefits
This is a full time position (40 hours/week), career position, and eligible for 12-month
employee benefits. This position is an exempt, monthly paid position. The annual salary is
commensurate with experience within the range of $70,000-$125,000.
