Account Executive
Location: Brooklyn, NY (near the G train and M train)
Base Salary: $70,000-$75,000 + Uncapped Commissions
OTE: 1st Year ($90,000-$120,000) 2nd Year ($120,000-$150,000)
Benefits: Medical (80% company paid for employee, 70% paid for spouse), 401k, Holidays, PTO

Travel: 20% local (across each borough)

Account Executive (2+ year of B2B sales exp. req.) Description
Our client in the commercial services industry is looking for an Account Executive to join their growing team in Brooklyn, NY. This is an in-office position in Brooklyn so our client is looking for candidates who would have an easy commute to their office and are open to working onsite. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for following up with inbound leads as well as prospecting new business. Because of their team’s success and outpouring of leads/business, they are looking to add another team member to help keep up. Their leadership team is well-connected and has a stellar reputation in the community so many of these incoming leads are from referrals so you will not have a hard sell ahead on those leads. Although there will be a solid influx of business, a hunter mentality is still a must. You’ll spend 50% of your time nurturing existing accounts to secure new opportunities as well as cold calling to identify fresh prospects. To be successful in this role, you must have B2B sales experience using a consultative, question-based approach. It is unlikely you’ll have experience with our client’s service offerings but if you are ambitious and crave learning as much as you can about everything you can to leverage your knowledge to close deals, we’d be surprised if you were not making an OTE of $150,000+ within the next few years. This is a solid opportunity for someone who is looking to make a lot of money with a stable company.

- Actively engage with leads via phone and email
- Research and qualify new leads
- Understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities
- Maintain and build upon existing customer relationships
- Maximize sales opportunities through cross-selling and upselling tactics
- Conduct meetings with clients virtually and in-person
- Accurately document and update important account information utilizing CRM
- Develop strategies for generating new business
- Stay informed about industry trends and competition
- Achieve or exceed set revenue and performance goals

- 2+ years of B2B sales experience required
- Question-based/consultative sales approach required
- Ability to travel 20% locally required
- Willingness to work onsite in Brooklyn required
