Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Class A CDL Truck Driver to be based out of Fort Mill. Reporting to Shipping Manager, this person will be responsible for the safe operation of company equipment, and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.

What you’ll do:

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Execute on-time pickup and deliveries.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
• Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations.
• Local Deliveries. (500-mile radius)
• Home daily.
• Solo routes

What you’ll bring:

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL and possess a current DOT Medical certification card.
• One to three years driving tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be able to effectively communicate to maintain positive customer relations climate with other drivers/warehouse personnel/customers/supervisors.
• Capable of standing, walking and repeatedly climbing into and out of road tractor or switch tractor.
• Must be able to work all necessary work schedules, including holidays/weekends.
• Requires safely operating equipment in extremes of weather and climatic conditions.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete any required training.
• Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
• Be well-versed in Atkore’s Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
