Atlantic Health Partners, LLC an affiliate of Atlantic Health System, seeks a Part-time, CMA – Certified Medical Assistant for our Gynecology Care Center in Riverdale, NJ. Responsible for aiding physicians with patient care, environmental and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the care center services. Conveys a positive and professional image of Care Center.

Job Responsibilities

  • Fulfills patient care responsibilities.
  • Bringing patients to exam rooms and review history, taking vitals, verifying medications.
  • Injections, vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and EKG.
  • Returning calls to patients with results.
  • Fulfills organizational and environmental responsibilities.
  • Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies.
  • Perform other duties/tasks as requested by providers, coordinators, and management in accordance with office procedures/policies.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • CMA experience in a physician practice preferred.
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited certified assistant program with current National Certification (NHA, NCCT, AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NAHP).
  • Prior Experience with Epic (EMR System) preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Compensation is based on experience.
