Our organization has set the standard for fine precision tools in industry for over 140 years! Our Athol facility is hiring for CNC operators in our Athol factory on 1st and 2nd shift.

Schedules & Starting Pay:

Sign on Bonus of a $1,000 for all shifts!

1st shift - $55,000 and opportunity for additional paid overtime

2nd shift - $63,000 with 15% shift differential

Flexible start times - Monday through Friday only, no weekends!

Job Duties:

• Perform a normal range of turning, drilling, tapping, reaming, boring, facing and similar machining operations on single or multiple spindle automatics or CNC controlled machines to produce a variety of parts composed of materials such as: steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.
• Setups in the main are exacting but not difficult requiring the changing of collets, feeders, pads, guide bushing to accommodate the various sizes of stock.
• The CNC machines require downloading the program to the machines. Sequence of operations, cams and tooling are generally prescribed.
• Grind tools to meet varying conditions and materials.
• Position cams in the machine and adjust for proper timing of operations.
• Inspect the parts at frequent intervals to assure that the print specifications are being maintained.
• Required to set-up and operate more than one machine.
• Maintain the machines as required by cleaning, oiling and greasing, etc.
