Consultant
Design and develop ETL using IBM InfoSphere Datastage and knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing applications and Unix Shell scripting.
Design and developing custom routines and transformation functionalities.
Configure executable components from lower environment to higher environments.
Ensure high customer service/satisfaction in 24*7 environment and perform automation on repeated activity, Optimization of ETL Solution, process Improvements to minimize the business support cost.
Analyze, design and develop ETL & Data Warehouse solutions as per the business demand and suggest the solutions for future growth.
Serve as liaison between different teams: Product Analysts, Data Architects and Business Analysts.
Review and ensure that business requirements are understood and are accurately translated into system requirements and technical specifications.
Ensure technical design and specifications are consistent with customer's technical framework/standards. Develop new insights into the client’s business model and pain points, and deliver actionable, high-impact results.
Utilize knowledge in HIPAA / EDI standards, HL7 messages and basic understanding of complex healthcare system; databases such Teradata, SQL Server and Oracle; Teradata architecture and utilities such as Fastload, Mload, Tpump & TPT; writing complex SQL Queries; and other ETL tools such as SSIS, DMExpress, Informatica Power Center.
May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of Information Technology experience, or related. Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: IBM InfoSphere DataStage; Teradata; Oracle; SQL Server; Infocus Benchmark tool; UNIX; Health Level Seven (HL7); Unified Medical Language System (UMLS Codes); Windows Server; JIRA; and Agile.
Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute. EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $148,512 – $149,512.
