Job Title: Cook
Work Location: Onsite
Division/Department: Kitchen
Reports to: House Manager/Lead Cook
Position: Part-time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A cook is responsible for preparing, serving and cleanup at meal time.
1. Preparing meals from the preplanned menu that is put in place by the lead cook. Ensuring that food is cooked properly, taking mindfulness of safety while preparing meals.
2. During serving time the cook will guide the students in orderly fashion for serving the meal and assisting with other staff during meal time.
3. After students have finished their meal the Cook assists the students and staff to insure food is put up properly, dishes are completed along with tables, floors etc.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ideally 21 or older
• Knowledge to follow a menu, and to be able to utilize recipes
• The ability to cook large quantities of food, to guarantee there is enough for everyone
• Previous work with children a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
