Your responsibilities

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift LOCAL CDL-A Driver to be based out of Lathrop, CA transporting Automotive Freight for one of our Dedicated accounts.

Key Driver Responsibilities:

• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections of truck and cargo
• No Touch Freight with Combination of Live Unloads and Drop & Hook
• Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
• Record cargo information distance traveled, fuel consumption, and other information in a log book / trip sheet
• Short haul deliveries up to 50 mile radius to Major Automotive Manufacturer
• Receive and relay information to a central dispatcher
• Maintain proper safety procedures to ensure onsite successful onsite delivery
• Maintain tractors in clean and operable condition
• Maintain excellent customer relations on all deliveries and pick-ups
• Follow all customer designated safety procedures
• Responsible for reporting any accidents, incidents or equipment damage that occurs
• Participate, support and comply with all health, safety and 6S initiatives, and requirements
• Continually follow all DOT requirements
• Opportunity for Safety Team Advancement and participation in Project Initiatives

Your profile

Requirements:

• Min. 1 year prior experience as a CDL Class A Driver
• Class A CDL
• Excellent driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred:

• Local Driving Experience
• Prior experience driving 53 ft. Tractor Trailer
