The Data Analyst will be responsible to develop reports with a specialty in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) development and support using Microsoft SQL. SQL programming skill is a must. Database management skill is also essential for success. You will perform all development tasks for reports, including gathering reports requirements; design table structure, using SQL to create reports and final trial run. You will also work with IT team on any alignment projects related to SAP BW implementation and configuration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work directly with business stakeholders (mainly sales and marketing groups) and other IT members, to create/gather business reports requirements and identify solutions
• Create and modify BW reporting by utilizing SQL
• Manage BW database and tables in an effective, logical, and systematic way. Design, create and change database and tables to meet business needs from a dynamic and long-term perspective
• Support live BW reports, including: a) creating/changing BW process schedules, and b) monitoring and troubleshooting BW processes, such as data loads, transformations, rollups, and reorganizations.
• Work with IT members for reporting and configure requirement at back end
• Perform monthly business tasks (such as sales commission calculation, dealer special discount, 3rd party dealer data loads) by utilizing BW and SQL; Clean up/ load and check business data; Load and maintain database
• Coordinate with functional leaders on forecast and budget activities to ensure accomplishment before deadlines
• Ability to effectively manage BW reports assorted with multiple projects going on in parallel, including working with many individuals in both varying technical and business roles; strong ability to work productively in a global company setting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, computer science or management information system or related fields

Experience and/or Training

• Minimum 2 years industry experience in BW reporting
• 2 years reporting experience by using SQL programing
• Great communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Possesses a high level of critical thinking. Operates with a high-level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
• High energy with a "can-do" attitude when challenges occur. Naturally takes on challenging assignments.
• Attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and provide practical solutions for business issues.
• Strong work ethic and accountability.
