We are a growing private family practice currently adding on a 2nd doctor to our team along with supporting staff, and we are seeking a strong administrative leader to join our practice urgently. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detailed oriented, and is prepared and able to manage the daily operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have at-least 4+ years of hands-on experience working in a dental practice, with 2+ of those years being in a private practice. We are looking for someone with knowledge of scheduling, treatment coordinating, daily dental practice operations, and strong teambuilding skills. This individual should have strong leadership skills to develop and grow the team and practice, and manage any surprise along the way. This position will be responsible for coordinating the addition of another doctor, hygienist, dental assistant and other supporting staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily morning huddles
  • Develop and lead staff and train as needed
  • Hiring and onboarding of staff
  • Manage the positive reputation of the practice, and maintain positive online reviews
  • Present treatment and financial payment plans to patients
  • Educate patients while answering questions, and addressing uncertainties regarding payment and treatment options
  • Effectively communicate pros and cons of recommended treatment
  • Welcome patients to the practice and assist with their needs
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries in a timely manner
  • Schedule and confirming initial/recurring patient appointments
  • Assist with insurance verifications, payment posting, and EOB follow ups
  • Optimize the appointment schedule to ensure the day is full, with limited gaps, ensuring efficient use of both Dentist and Hygienist(s) time
  • Recall and recare calls done in an organized and timely manner
  • Oversee patient relations and handle questions and complaints with professionalism
  • Assist in opening & closing of office

Qualifications:

  • 4+ Years dental admin experience with 2+ years’ experience in private practice
  • Dental schedule mastery

  • Experience treatment coordinating
  • Strong computer skills (google drive, Microsoft Office)
  • Insurance knowledge
  • Denticon system experience a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus

Compensation is based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
