People Creating Success is currently hiring direct support professionals in Santa Clarita and surrounding areas, to provide support to adults with developmental disabilities in their activities of daily living. Job Duties:

Vary per Person Served needs. Some duties might include but are not limited to:

  • Follow the Program Plan of individual including working towards individual goals.
  • Fill out all required documentation at the end of each shift.
  • Have the ability to perform duties depending on the level of care of individual.
  • Will maintain current progress notes and date frequency count on each resident assigned to them.
  • Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
  • Assist with daily living activities depending on individuals needs. These may include:
    • Cleaning, cooking and light household duties
    • Participating in community events and activities
    • Helping individual make healthy food choices and stick to a budget
    • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
    • Hygiene and bathing help if applicable for Individual
    • Lifting and transferring if applicable for Individual
    • Assist with medication dispersal if applicable for Individual
    • Communicate with other staff and program managers about individual’s progress
  • Maintain the ability to exercise mature judgment and relate to residents in a warm, caring and non-expletive way


Requirements for Employment:

We provide comprehensive training in all aspects of the position, and there are opportunities for advancement including lead staff and management.

  • Successfully pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including
    • criminal background check,
    • drug screening
    • provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States


  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification is a plus. We provide training if you are not certified!
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record with proof of insurance if applicable
