The Director, Product Management will establish and lead a Product Management function for the Calibration Solutions Division at Mesa Labs. The incumbent will report to the Vice President/General Manager of the Division and manage 3-4 Product Managers.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Establish standard work for the Product Management Function
- Manage and develop a team of Product Managers
- Lead through influence cross functional teams including R&D, Sales,
Operations, Finance, Service teams
- Build capabilities for the department, including Market Research, Pricing
Strategy, Portfolio Management, Lifecycle Management, Product
Development & Commercialization, Competitive Analysis
- Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously
improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment.
Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S
knowledge and implementation.
- Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for
achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, &
Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Required
- Master’s Degree (MBA) - Preferred
- Minimum 10 years Global/Regional Product Management experience or 8
years with Master’s Degree – with both upstream and downstream leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years directly managing Product Managers
- Minimum 5 years working in regulated industry (e.g. Medical Device, BioPharma, Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing, Other Regulated Industry)
Compensation and Benefits:
Flexible Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave, Annual cash bonus and equity award. Benefits and competitive rates are offered commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and, 401(k) retirement with immediate company match. The base salary range is $175-220K commensurate with experience.
