A director position is with the highest levels of leadership responsibilities of executing all business functions from Monday through Sunday, 24 hours/day. Director positions are responsible for the leadership functions that govern and grow a business to include but not limited to Operations, Culinary Operations, Food Safety, Food Quality, Development and Training, Standards Evaluation, Financial Return, Sales and Brand Growth, Talent, Labor/Food/General cost avoidance, team development, productivity, stewardship, guest experience, and a culture of growth mindset and care.

Directors have the responsibility for directing both the long-term business and team growth as well as the daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent time management, communication, planning, execution, and problem-solving skills. Previous leadership experience is required and must be a minimum age of 21+ years old.

Directors work directly with the Chick-fil-A Operator to exceed goals, develop team, grow business, solve challenging problems and provide critical advice and recommendations

Directors efforts are primarily leading and executing business operational schedules and functions to meet food safety, quality guest experience and hospitality standards. Additionally, they serve as functional area champions responsible for setting and exceeding goals in key performance areas and mentoring/coaching their team to achieve top 20% chain performance, food safety score of 1, and above market average performance metrics critical to business success.

Requirements:

Full-time Position: Must be able to work flexible hours in order to meet business operations demands and operating hours. Leadership demands and business execution from open to close as well as some non-operational requirements on Sunday. Have 3-5 years of business/restaurant leadership experience.

Language: Proficient in English, preferred bilingual (Spanish, or others).

Education: High School Graduate, preferred two years of post-high school education or equivalent or Bachelor’s degree or above.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time for up to 90% of the shift.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and up to 75 pounds in a repetitive motion as needed.

Must be able to sit for up to 10% at a time to complete any computer paperwork or reports.
