Let's Play Ruff LLC is looking to expand our team! We are located in Holmdel NJ. We are searching for a reliable, responsible and mature dog walkers and/or pet sitters for part time positions. We are available 7 days a week to our clients from 8:30am to 9:30pm. Potential team members must be flexible regarding available days and hours. Dog walkers and pet sitters may be required to work holidays. You must be willing to make a minimum commitment of 6 monthsto working with us.

Requirements for Dog Walking position:

• Must have access to reliable car and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be reliable and able to work on short notice.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be willing to work in the all weather conditions.
• Must always treat the dogs you walk with care, kindness, and respect.
• Must be able to handle larger dogs if needed, and be able to keep control of a leash if a dog pulls. You must also be able to be on your feet and walking for at least 30 minutes at a time.
• Must Dog be willing to pick up and dispose of dog waste during walks.
• Cell phone is needed for communication and to log in and out of our Doggie App for tracking walks.
• Hands-on training in the field is also a requirement.
• A 1099 will be required.

Dog Walkers' Responsibilities: * Communicate with clients and with management during visits.*

• Meet with potential clients and their pets for initial consultations and advertise services provided.
• Clean up after cats and dogs including accidents in the home and litter box.
• Observe outdoor and indoor play to ensure safety of the pet.
• Feed and provide water based upon client instructions, which may be very detailed and must be followed exactly as given.
• Report any injuries or illnesses to me and the owner as soon as possible.
• Respect clients’ homes and personal property when on-site.
• Provide additional customer service as requested by clients, which may include picking up mail, watering plants and opening and closing blinds or curtains.
• Check and follow schedule provided by the main office and report any conflicts or issues to manager as soon as possible but at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled walking or sitting appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST live in one of these towns (or a bordering town) in order to visit clientshomes quickly and efficiently (sometimes several times per day) * Holmdel, Middletown, Colts Neck, Aberdeen, Matawan, Rumson, Little Silver, Red Bank, Keyport and Hazlet areas. *Our clients with dogs usually also have cats. Please keep this in mind if you have allergies to certain animals.
