This is a a great position for retired individuals or stay-at-home parents who are looking to work daytime hours in a low stress environment.

We are locally owned servicing Boulder County, CO, including Boulder, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont, Erie, and surrounding areas. Locally owned and managed with the backing of America’s largest and most trusted professional dog walking and pet sitting franchise, Fetch! Pet Care.

We are seeking friendly, reliable, and honest individuals to care for pets in the pet owner's home (not the applicants' home) and walk dogs on a regular basis. We provide all services at the pet owner's home; we go to them! We also provide our clients Almost Overnight Care, Puppy Care, and Pet Transportation.

Qualifications:

• Genuinely love and have knowledge around caring for pets.
• Be comfortable walking and caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs/animals in all types of weather.
• Live in or around the areas we service. (Boulder, Longmont, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, Erie)
• Have reliable transportation.
• Own a smartphone with internet, texting, and email capabilities.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

Skills & Experience:

• Be able to complete the Fetch! Pet Care training program
• Follow safety protocols according to standards and training.
• Put the welfare of the animals at the forefront of all you do.
• Be willing to work Weekends, and major Holidays
• Willing to be a back-up sitter as needed.
• Vet Tech, Shelter or Volunteer experience helpful but not required.
• Some customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Job Requirements:

• Be able to be on your feet several times a day while dog walking.
• Be able to visually observe people and animals from up to 150 feet away.
• Be capable of effectively controlling the leash of all sized dogs.
• Be able to assess situations accurately, calmly and be able to respond quickly.
• This is a part-time position with flexible hours and great pay!
