Location: Hartsville, SC
Position: Electromechanic
Pay: $19.17 - $34.74/hr, based on experience
Shift: 1st shift but must be able to work overtime, including weekends
Machinery Manufacturing has an opening for an Electro-mechanic. The successful candidate must have an excellent record in the areas of safety, performance, attendance and housekeeping. This candidate must have excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills. An Associate’s degree in the field is preferred.
What you will be doing:
- installing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing and maintaining of equipment and machinery.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in beautiful Hartsville, SC and close to exciting destinations (Myrtle Beach, SC Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC).
We'd love to hear from you if:
- You have exceptional skills in the area of electricity, electronic components, programming, installing and troubleshooting of PLC’s .
- You have an excellent working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic functions and experience with general shop equipment. I
- You have experience with machine shop equipment, welding, fabrication and parts machining.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with limited or no direct supervision
- Have minimum of 5 years work related experience
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Position will require up to 60% travel at times, possibly international.
