Job description
Engineering Technician will support the Design Engineering team in development of the Ford BEC, building samples, debug new designs, and test. Technician will work closely with Design team.

Assist in new product development plus perform validation and documentation DV tests.

Perform engineering tests.

Develop test fixtures for component assembly and validation testing.

Be able to interpret data and make observations/recommendations from experimental results

Acquire, analyze, and document data.

Ensure all tests are completed accurately, on-time, and are clearly documented.

Development testing & data analysis, validation testing, test fixturing (mechanical and electrical), test report writing, troubleshooting.

Ability to do light electrical soldering to modify and/or test PCBs.

Work with engineers on program timing and development of testing requirements.

Work with other technicians to achieve team goals.

The ability to perform device failure analysis if needed

Ability to read prints and machine fixtures, tooling, etc.

Support and oversee the build of prototype samples, including developing work instructions, guiding operators, collecting and evaluating in-process data.

Verify compliance of incoming prototype material prior to assembly builds

Other engineering technician projects as needed
