Financial Analyst
Our client Donsco, Inc, has a great career opportunity for a Financial Analyst, in Wrightsville, PA! The ideal candidate for this full-time role will be highly motivated and detail orientated as they work directly with the CFO to track and analyze the cost and performance of key business processes.
The Financial Analyst will be involved in annual budget preparation, ongoing performance updates, and development of relevant KPI/metrics. Working directly with key operating team leaders to set company-wide investment direction, policies, and delivering data driven information.

Required Skills*
Financial Responsibilities*:

  • Maintain and refine weekly Financial Tracking System including tracking, charts, and graphs.
  • Develop and maintain risk review of the company operations and procedures for areas where additional controls or procedures are needed involving large daily exposure such as electricity charges or raw material charges.
  • Assist CFO to monitor and enforce comprehensive spending controls within checkbook limits and planned budgets.
  • Assist CFO with ensuring that a reliable cost accounting system is in place to accurately reflect actual manufacturing, selling and administrative costs.
  • Assist CFO & VP of Operations with the period forecast of expenses and profitability.
  • Work with CFO in developing and administering the annual budget.
  • Assist and improve period and year-end financial closing.
  • Direct the performance of annual and period physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the CFO.
  • Learn Donsco’s Financial Accounting System to grow into Controller role.

Benefits Responsibilities:
Pension

  • Coordinate with Actuary on getting estimates for employees.
  • Coordinate pension paperwork for employees/retirees, all proper filing.
  • Monitor plan and make sure rosters are up to date.
  • Responsible for yearly audit.

401K

  • Work with the CFO to select and negotiate employee benefit programs; work with outside professionals as needed on benefit plan renewals, design, and implementation; help ensure that plans conform to state and federal requirements and that all participants are enrolled accordingly.
  • Attend quarterly/semi–annual meetings with Investment Manager.
  • Responsible for yearly audit.

Human Resources

  • Prepare HR data analysis, such as retention statistics and board requests.
  • Assist with handling the annual health insurance renewal.
  • Analyze financial impact of different health care options and coordinate annual audit.

Required Experience*
Experience and Skills Required:*

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field, required
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, especially relating to professional development and employee education and training
  • Experience with management of a team including employee relations experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong computer knowledge working with Word and PowerPoint and advanced skills working with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Appropriately decisive and results oriented
  • Team-oriented, ethical, credible, and trustworthy
  • Proven project management and time management skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Able to see the big picture while managing the details in a disciplined way

Salary is commensurate with experience level.
