The Flight Crew Trainee Program (FCT) provides you with all the advantages of being a full-time salaried employee with benefits, while supporting you through flight training. Our structured Flight Crew Trainee Program offers mentorship and comprehensive training with hands-on learning opportunities that will set you on the path to becoming a successful pilot.

RWA, the light Jet offering of the Vista family of companies, manages the innovative and exciting XO brand in the US charter market. We deliver an environment that supports our crew with a cohesive Operational Control Center, experienced Repair Station and effective Training Department. Flight Crew Training Program Offerings:

  • The FCT program provides full-time employment within a department at RWA utilizing your skills as a pilot (Operational Control Center) and a schedule that will provide opportunity to complete flight training
  • Assignment to a “Partner” flight school near RWA Headquarters
  • Citation Ultra 560 Type Rating
  • Citation Ultra First-Officer Position
  • Full-time salary, benefits, and training
  • Work alongside industry leaders and mentors who are committed to your success
  • Access and advancement in the Vista family of companies


FCT Program Eligibility:

  • Hold a Private Pilot’s License
  • Current 1st Class Medical
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid US Passport


Financial Support:

Red Wing Aviation offers financial support for pilot training up to and include Commercial Multi-engine rating. Red Wing Aviation will reimburse employee after the successful completion of each certificate obtained.

  • In addition to a schedule that provides time for you to focus on pilot training goals, you will receive financial support for your pilot training


FCT Benefits:

  • Salary and medical, dental, vision plans are available first day of employment
  • 401k program – dollar for dollar match annually to $8,000/$11,000 – No Vesting period
  • Flight training financial Reimbursement

  • Pilot seniority number from first day of employment
