FORKLIFT OPERATOR

$21-23/hr- 1st and 2nd shift- Hugo, MN

Job Description:

• In this role specifically they will be scanning in boxes that were picked and packaged into inventory.
• Printing out shipping labels, stacking on pallets and wrapping pallets once stacked according to shipping order.

Job Responsibilities:

• Will be operating a cherry picker standup forklift 75% of the shift pulling orders for fulfillment.
• Pulling orders up to 3 levels high from a cherry picker - these orders will be whole box orders and can weigh anywhere from 10 lbs to 50 lbs.
• Will be pulling the orders manually onto cherry picker then drop the order for the order shipment team can get it palletized and staged for shipment.
• Will be reading from print sheets and scanners to ensure proper picking of orders (need to have eye for detail)
• Standing all shift on the forklift or when doing other duties.
• Will be cross trained onto the Standup reach truck forklift as well at some point in the replenishment/stocking area,

Skills & Qualifications:

• Lift 50 pounds and okay standing on feet all shift (on forklift or not on forklift)
• Minimum 6 months Standup Forklift operation (cherry picker preferred but not required just not afraid of heights and willing to train)
• Read, write and communicate
• Basic computer skills
• Worked in a fast paced work environment previously

Work Environment/Shift:

Brand new Warehouse 15000 sq feet - very well lit LED lights windows etc.

Everyone is very friendly.

Great place to work in a very good location if you do not like to battle traffic.

They're corporate location is 5 miles away in Lino Lakes and they have a smaller warehouse in Coon Rapids.

The replenishment aisles are wider than the Cherry Picker order fulfillment aisles.

The racks go 3 levels high about 25 high.

1st shift: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11pm Monday-Friday
