Warehouse Associate – Forklift Team (Evening Shift)

Location: Hanover, MD

Role: Full-Time (with benefits)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1pm - 11pm+ OT

We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Warehouse Associate on our second (evenings) team at our Hanover, VA warehouse and central distribution center.

  • Requires forklift driving or clamp truck driving and handling to load and unload product
  • Stores materials/equipment for use in the distribution center
  • Upholds environmental health and safety standards, wear steel toe shoes
  • Works closely with CE internal customers, onsite wholesale store associates and sales team to review orders and requests
  • Provides excellent customer service to external customers when supporting loading and unloading (mechanical contractors; dealers, owners)
  • Follows safety procedures and training to ensure a safe and productive work space
  • Willing to work a daily schedule from 1pm - 11pm+OT (some teams may plan a work schedule that can flex up to 60-90 minutes to support the business needs.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed - our team has OT available throughout the busy summer season

Requirements:
  • Experience with operating a forklift, lift truck, squeeze lift or similar or similar equipment
  • Ability to safely work in a warehouse and distribution environment
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience with warehouse operations or logistics
  • Willingness to train or have general experience supporting warehouse and logistics, pulling and tracking of parts and materials is preferred, but not required
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills to enter time card, review and document customer orders, view training materials and review company documents on a company provided computer
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
  • Must be team-oriented and willing to work with a diverse group of co-workers
  • Pre-employment Background and Drug Screen required for all hires to include a 10-panel drug screen urinalysis, education and employment verification and criminal background check.
