MTC Gardening Assistant
BYU Grounds takes care of and beautifies all of the MTC. We maintain sports fields, greenhouses, lawns, flower beds, campus sidewalks/pavers, trees/shrubs/plants, and even recycling. Working for BYU Grounds provides a great opportunity to be in the beautiful outdoors working alongside wonderful people!

About the position:
Basic duties will include: mowing, weed whipping, edging, blowing, leaves, sprinkler repair, trash removal, weeding and various other tasks. Tasks will also vary throughout the year as the seasons and weather change.
- Spring: Dig and plant Summer flowers, mowing/maintaining lawns, repairing sprinklers, putting down mulch, and much more.
- Summer: Maintain flowers, mowing/maintaining lawns, repairing sprinklers, weeding and much more.
Benefits:
- Starting wage of $14/hour with regular opportunities for raises if working 14+ hours a week or have previous experience.
- Flexible hours (between 6am and 4:30pm)
- Learn new skills
Shifts available:
- Work up to 17.5 hrs/week.
- Flexible shifts between 6 am. and 4:30 pm.
- Work around your schedule.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn (or previous experience in) skills such as mowing, trimming, and edging
- Works well with others
- Enjoys the outdoors
- Regular and consistent attendance at scheduled shift
